PiggyWorld App, Website, Subscription and Smart PiggyBank Terms of Service (UK) Last updated: 26 May 2026 (UK time) This is a legalagreement between you and PiggyWorld Ltd (“PiggyWorld”, “we”, “us” or “our”).These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of (i) the PiggyWorld mobile applications and website (collectively, the “Services”), (ii) the connected PiggyWorld Smart PiggyBank device and accessories (the “Device”), and (iii) anypaid plans or auto renewing subscriptions (“Subscription”). By creating an account, using the Services or activating the Device, you agree to these Terms.If you do not agree, do not use PiggyWorld. 1. Who we are; contact PiggyWorldLtd is a company incorporated in England & Wales (the “UK”). Registered office: 44C Whittington Road London, N22 8YD, United Kingdom. Company number: 16336725. You can contact us at info@piggyworld.co.uk. 2. Eligibility and accountsecurity You must be at least 18 to create a parent/guardian account. Child profiles may be created and managed only by a parent or legal guardian. You areresponsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account. Do not share your password or one time codes with anyone. 3.Relationship with app stores and platforms When you download our app from AppleApp Store or Google Play, your use of the store is governed by their terms. PiggyWorld is independent from Apple and Google. Neither Apple or Google is responsiblefor support or for any claims relating to the Services or the Device. 4.Services description The Services help families teach financial habits through tasks, points and star goals. Some features require linking a parent’s eligible bank account through an authorised third party open banking provider (e.g.,TrueLayer) and may not be available in all countries. Real money transfers are initiated only by the parent/guardian; children cannot initiate transfers. 5.Device (Smart PiggyBank) and safety The Device contains electronics and are chargeable battery (charged via USB C). It is not a toy for unsupervised play. Use only in dry environments. Keep away from heat, liquids and small children. Do not open, crush, puncture, modify, short circuit, or incinerate.Charge with certified chargers and cables. If the Device is damaged, stop using it immediately. The Device is intended for children aged 5–14 with adult supervision. Small detachable parts may present a choking hazard. Comply with all product labels and manuals provided with the Device. 6. Regulatory and labelling compliance PiggyWorld will affix applicable conformity marks and symbols (e.g., UKCA/CE, WEEE “crossed out bin”, battery recycling symbol) when legally required for the region of sale. You agree not to remove or obscure marks, safety notices or serial numbers. Regional availability, conformity andpower specifications may vary by model and country. 7. Updates to the Servicesand firmware. We may provide updates, patches or new versions of the app, Services and Device firmware. Some updates may be required to continue functioning or to maintain security, compliance or interoperability. If you choose not to install updates, the Services or Device may not work properly and we will not be responsible for resulting issues. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. 8. Acceptable use You will not misuse the Services or Device, including by: attempting to access accounts without permission; interfering with security or integrity; decompiling, reverseengineering or scraping; uploading malicious code; or using PiggyWorld forunlawful purposes, including fraud or money laundering. We may suspend orterminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. 9. Financial features; bank linking and payments Certain features enable a parent to link asupported bank account via an authorised open banking provider. Bank linking andpayments are provided by third parties subject to their terms and regulatory permissions. PiggyWorld does not hold customer funds and is not a bank, payment institution or e money issuer. Transfers and payment execution times depend on your bank and the third party provider. Fees charged by your bank are your responsibility. 10. Subscription, trials and billing Premium features are available on a paid Subscription. Prices, taxes and billing cycles are shown at checkout in GBP unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions auto renew until cancelled. Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.You can cancel at any time in your device settings or account portal; access continues until the end of the current paid period and no partial refunds are provided except where required by law. Introductory or promotional pricing may change after the initial term. We may change Subscription pricing with priornotice and the change will apply on the next renewal. 11. Consumer rights; cancellations and returns (UK) Nothing in these Terms affects rights you may have under UK consumer law. For app Subscriptions purchased from an app store, the store’s refund policies apply. For physical Devices bought directly from PiggyWorld online, you may have a 14 day right to cancel from delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided the Device is returned inresalable condition with all accessories (we may deduct for any diminished value). This clause does not apply to Devices purchased from third party retailers—please contact your retailer. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. 12. Device warranty We provide a limited warranty against defects in materials andworkmanship for 12 months from delivery to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear; cosmetic damage; misuse; liquid damage; accidents; unauthorised repairs or modifications; batteries beyond 12months; or damage from using non approved accessories. Your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement (or refund where repair/replacement is not possible) at our option. To make a claim, contact support with proof of purchase. 13. Intellectual property and licence PiggyWorld and its licensors own all rights in the Services, content, software, firmware, designs and marks. Subject tothese Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non transferable, non exclusive licence to use the Services and firmware on a Device you own or control. You must not copy, modify, create derivative works of, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit the Services, content or firmwareexcept to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law. 14. User content and feedback You may submit ideas, feedback or content (e.g., tasklists, names, avatars). You grant PiggyWorld a worldwide, royalty free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify and display such content to operate and improve the Services. Do not submit content you do not have rights to or that is illegal or harmful. We may remove content that violates theseTerms. 15. Privacy and children’s data Your personal data will be handled according to the PiggyWorld Privacy Notice (available on our website), which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Child profiles are created and controlled by a parent/guardian. We design our Services with the UK Age Appropriate Design Code in mind. Parents are responsible for supervisingtheir child’s use of the Device and Services. 16. Third party services and links Parts of the Services rely on third parties (e.g., open banking providers, analytics, cloud hosting, app stores). Those services are subject totheir own terms and privacy notices. PiggyWorld is not responsible for third party services and makes no warranties about them. 17. No warranties (Servicesand Device) The Services, content and Device are provided “as is” and “asavailable”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the Services or Device will be uninterrupted, error free, secure or compatible with every device or network, or that defects will becorrected. 18. Limitation of liability Nothing in these Terms limits liabilitythat cannot be limited by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud). Subject to the foregoing, PiggyWorld will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or loss of profits, revenues, data, good will or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relatingto the Services, Device or these Terms is limited to the greater of £50 or the amount you paid to PiggyWorld for the Services or Device that gave rise to theclaim in the 12 months preceding the claim. 19. Export control and sanctions compliance You agree to comply with applicable export, import and sanctions laws. You will not use or export the Services or Device in violation of UK, EU or US laws, including to embargoed countries/regions or restricted parties. 20. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms to reflect improvements, legal, regulatory or security reasons. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, provide notice. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop usingthe Services and, if applicable, cancel your Subscription. 21. Suspension and termination We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if you breach these Terms, if required by law or for security reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time and cancel your Subscription via settings. Upon termination, your licence ends and you must stop using the Services and Device firmware (other than embedded software necessary for basic safety compliance). Clauses intended to survive will survive termination. 22.Governing law and venue If you are resident in the UK or EU, these Terms (and any non contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England shall have non exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may also bring disputes in their local courts as permitted by applicable law. 23. Contact, complaints and alternative dispute resolution If you have a complaint, please contact info@piggyworld.co.uk. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may have access to alternative dispute resolution bodies or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, where applicable. 24. Miscellaneous No failure to enforce is a waiver. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains ineffect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a corporate transaction. These Terms constitutethe entire agreement regarding the Services and Device. Important Battery & Safety Notices (Summary) • Recharge only with certified USB C chargers. • Keepaway from heat, liquids and small children. • Do not open, crush or incinerate.• Stop using if the Device is swollen, leaking, damaged or overheating. •Dispose of batteries and electronics according to local regulations (WEEE).
